Every craft needs a proper finish
The dried bristle root is tightly bound with hemp thread, and its end is carefully burned with a branding iron, creating a constriction that secures the bristles. The inside of the brush handle is then hollowed with a small knife, and the bristles are precisely attached in the final assembly.
Every step is carefully carried out with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring that none of the previous work is in vain.
Produced at Akashiya’s factory in China, with every piece inspected in Japan prior to shipment.
Do not pull the bristle tips strongly, as they are not glued. Pulling may cause damage.
With continued use, the bristles may start to shed. When this happens, it’s time to replace the brush.
How to Check the Temperature
Test the brush on the back of your hand or a similar area.
Do not put your fingers into the brush, as this may cause clumping inside the bristles.
